About P&G Communications
P&G Communications, Inc. is a full-service public relations and marketing firm founded by Bernice L. Guity in Atlanta, Georgia. We offer clients a wide range of services in public relations, marketing, media relations, publicity, and web site design. Services are offered in English or Spanish.

We recently added a new service – Student and Professional Services – where we offer Proofreading (spelling, punctuation, basic grammar); and Advanced copy editing (word choice, clarity, phrasing, grammar, extensive rewriting and reworking of your text for readability and style) for students who wish to earn a better grade on their essays, papers and graduate research papers. We can also format and bring life to your Resume or Curriculum Vitae.

Guity is proud of her most recent accomplishment! On March 27, 2007, she earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources from Strayer University in Atlanta.

In 2003, Guity added the title of Author to her list of impressive credentials with her highly sought-after book, Inside the Notepad of A Reporter.

 
This powerful resource guidebook is a MUST-READ for high school and college students who aspire to become journalists. Guity has conducted numerous journalism and mentoring workshops at schools and colleges throughout the country.

Guity is a veteran journalist with more than nine years of journalism experience. She has written front-page stories for the New York Times Newspaper Group, Knight-Ridder Newspapers, and the American City Business Journals. She won two Editor’s Awards through the American City Business Journal’s for her front-page stories and superior writing.

After nine years in the journalism industry, Guity made a successful transition into the Public Relations industry and landed a job as Public Relations Manager for Emory Hospitals in Atlanta. She later worked as the Sr. Communications Director for the American Diabetes Association where she handled public relations and marketing for the entire Southeast Region.
 
Guity is a Mass Communications graduate of Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Fla. and she is a two-time recipient of the Freedom Forum’s Chips Quinn Scholars Program. Through this program, Guity completed her internship at Florida Today, an award-winning Gannett newspaper. She also worked in college as an assistant editor and staff writer for The Daytona Times, and she garnered the title of “Reporter of the Year” during her senior year.

Guity is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Public Relations Society of America, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the National Black Public Relations Society.

P&G Communications can accommodate any need and any budget. Services are billable on an hourly rate, project basis, on a day-rate basis, or on a monthly retainer contract.
Out-of-pocket expenses are billed separately.
